Logan University is proud to announce its partnership with the St. Louis Ambush indoor soccer team. For the 2024-25 season, Doctor of Chiropractic student interns in Logan’s Sports and Rehabilitation Clinic rotation will have the opportunity to provide chiropractic care to Ambush athletes during games and practices.
“Partnering with St. Louis Ambush presents an exciting opportunity for our institution to provide evidence-based chiropractic care tailored to the unique needs of professional athletes,” said Quintin Murray DC, EdD, MS, CCSP, senior clinician for Logan’s Sports and Rehabilitation Clinic. “The athletes will benefit from personalized care that enhances performance, aids recovery, and helps prevent injury, ensuring they stay at the top of their game. In turn, our students will gain invaluable hands-on experience, applying their skills in real-world situations and preparing them for successful careers as leaders in chiropractic sports medicine.”
The student interns work under the supervision of licensed Logan clinicians from the Sports and Rehabilitation team. In addition to providing care during games and practices, student interns will also care for the Ambush athletes and staff at the Sports and Rehabilitation clinic located at the Montgomery Health Center on Logan’s campus.
The team’s home opener game against the Kansas City Comets will take place at the Family Arena on Friday, November 29 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com and more information can be found on stlambush.com.
This partnership is part of an ongoing effort to create meaningful partnerships with local organizations and provide expanded opportunities in integrated care for Logan students.
