We are looking for a passionate chiropractor wanting to work in South Dakota in a multi-doctor clinic. An ideal candidate would be someone who is focused on meeting people where they’re at regarding their health, but wanting to encourage a wellness lifestyle, and who is willing to learn and adapt to the primary techniques of our clinic regarding the use of manual muscle testing and traction assisted adjustments while still being able to offer a personal touch.
About our clinic:
We have been open for about 40 years as Reinecke Chiropractic Clinic with Dr. Jorde becoming the new owner in 2023 after having been a doctor here since 2015. For most of its existence we’ve had three doctors and since Dr. Reinecke is retiring next Spring, we’re looking for a new doctor who can start at the end of this year or early next year to learn from him about how we do things here as well as get his patients familiar with the new doctor to hopefully transition most of ‘his’ patients over once Dr. Reinecke does leave. Although all patients have a preferred provider who they typically see, all patients can readily be seen by any of the other docs if need be and can expect similar treatment with any one of them. Some ancillary therapies including cold laser and ARPwave are performed in house, as are plain film x-rays, by our staff. We do all of our billing in house, are in network with all South Dakota insurances, and two of our three current doctors accept South Dakota Medicaid. Apart from our great new receptionist, Dr. Jorde has been by far the newest one to the clinic at a meager 10 years now and so although our chiropractic family is starting to slowly change, we’re hoping whoever comes in will be open to being a part of the clinic family as well.
Duties and compensation:
-The main duties are simply seeing patients, properly doing patient notes and paperwork on the ChiroTouch Cloud system, and impressing patients with your care, skill, and knowledge.
-We are open MWF: 9am – 12:15pm and 2pm – 5:30pm and Tues and Thurs: 9am – 12:30pm. We are also open Saturday mornings currently with only Dr. Jorde working those hours. While it would be ideal for the new doc to take over Saturdays as well, as it’s certainly been helpful at building an individual patient base, it won’t be required.
-Most of our marketing is simply referrals and some paid advertising, but all doctors will be required to work the occasional show or expo. Usually just three a year; Spring, Summer, and Fall
-Doctor compensation is entirely based on a percentage of collections with the percentage increasing along with higher collections for the year. Currently, doctors are earning between $50k and $100k+. However, because it’s expected and understandable that collections will be low at first as your patient base grows, even with an already existing patient base, we are also offering a guaranteed minimum pay for the first year.
